Series 430 is a simple and friendly table and chair series among Panton's design works, providing inspiration solutions for different space scenes.
The Series 430 Modern Bar Chair was first released in 1967 and was buried in the archives until it was rediscovered by VERPAN in 2015. Based on Verner Panton's original drawings and notes, we reimagine this forgotten and charming design with a modern eye. Interestingly, the Series 430 Bar Stool is the only chair in Panton’s design portfolio to have four legs.
Panton designed the Series 430 fabric Bar Chair as an exploration and expression of minimalism, using a minimum of elements to create maximum beauty while functionally providing the same comfort as an armchair. Panton applies traditional webbing to upholstered seats, with just the right amount of softness and hardness to adapt to different weights, providing a comfortable seating experience.
